Limited access to health information, poor hygiene, inadequate nutrition, and low first-aid knowledge contribute to preventable diseases like malaria, diarrhea, cholera, and malnutrition. HII empowers individuals and families with the knowledge and skills to prevent disease, act on health hazards, and lead healthier lives.<\/p>\n<p><!-- Justification --><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #2980b9;\">Justification<\/h2>\n<p>Many preventable diseases account for a significant portion of illnesses and deaths in African communities. Simple practices\u2014handwashing, proper nutrition, and prompt first-aid\u2014can greatly reduce health risks.
