Who We Are
The African Kakuwa Vision (AKV) is a transformative initiative that empowers Kakuwa communities across Uganda (UG), South Sudan (SSD), and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Rooted in cultural identity and driven by pressing socio-economic needs, AKV seeks to expand education, strengthen livelihoods, improve healthcare, promote legal empowerment, and foster cross-border collaboration.
The Kakuwa people, spread across three countries, face marginalization, underdevelopment, and political neglect. Decades of conflict and fragmented services have weakened their education, health, and livelihoods. The African Kakuwa Vision (AKV) offers a culturally grounded, people-driven approach to restore dignity, foster self-reliance, and build lasting resilience. Learn More about AKV
